International Volunteer Day - December 5, 2021
International Volunteer Day (IVD), mandated by the UN General Assembly, is celebrated around the world on 5 December each year and recognises the outstanding contribution that volunteers make in their communities.
With over 600,000 volunteers in Western Australia, International Volunteer Day is a day for mass celebration. Volunteer involving organisations (VIOs) celebrate the contributions of thousands of volunteers who support their programs and services to the community.
