Leading Volunteers and Dynamic Teams
A team or miscommunication can make or break your culture.
To develop a constructive workplace culture, one needs to understand the difference between a good leader and a great leader, team dynamics and how to communicate with different levels of leadership.
This session covers:
- Tips, traits and challenges of becoming a great leader
- Respect, recognition and reward
- How to get the best out of your team
- How to understand different communication styles and to adapt to them
This workshop will follow up with support from our VWA training team.
A light lunch will be provided on the day.
Suitability: For volunteer leaders who have completed the VWA foundation workshops or Volunteer Involving Organisations wanting to be recognised as a successful leader in volunteering.
This workshop is $50 for VWA financial members and $80 for Non – Members.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points: Up to 2 CPD points are awarded for attending this workshop.
This face-to-face learning is subsidised to Western Australian volunteer involving organisations thanks to funding from the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
