Volunteering WA Membership Fees from 1 July 2023

20/04/2023

Membership fees allow Volunteering WA to develop and deliver services and benefits to members as well as contribute to our work as the peak body, championing the sector.

Being a member gives you access to a great range of member benefits and services. However, it is about more than this. It’s about recognising the essential contribution of volunteers and volunteering in our communities as well as your own organisation

It’s about working together to harness the power of volunteering, to promote stronger, healthier more inclusive communities.

It’s about providing a collective voice to our leaders and decision makers on key sector issues.

As a member, you are part of a network of hundreds of organisations who are the heart and driving force of their communities, and support Volunteering WA in working towards a future where everyone is empowered and inspired to make a difference.

New fees and an additional membership tier for organisations with over $5 Million in annual revenue will be introduced from 1 July 2023, our first increase since 2016. The new membership tier will bring Volunteering WA into line with other peak bodies in the community services sector in WA and our counterparts across AustraliaThe new fees are consistent with Volunteering WA’s inclusive philosophy of charging tiered fees that reflect the organisations income and providing equal access to the full range of services, benefit and supports to organisations of all sizes.

We are committed to providing value to members. We are excited to be investing in new CRM technology to deliver improvements to our member engagement. Over time we expect this will allow us to provide a more tailored and higher quality membership experience. The additional revenue will mean that we have more scope to develop member services, events and opportunities as well continue to provide members with discounts on service fees.
