International Volunteer Day 2021 theme announced

Celebrating the millions of volunteers from around the world, this year’s International Volunteer Day (IVD) encourages people to “Volunteer now for our common future”.

#IVD2021 is celebrated globally on December 5 each year. 

Encouraging, recognising and promoting volunteerism is an important part of creating a more equal and inclusive future for communities and worldwide.

Annual Volunteer Garden Party: Each year on the Thursday before the internationally celebrated IVD, Volunteering WA hosts an annual garden party for 500+ of Western Australia's volunteers and volunteer involving organisations. 

This year's garden party will be held on Thursday 2 December in the beautiful Lower Gardens of Governement House in Perth. Find more details here
