Engaging with spontaneous volunteers- lessons learnt

This information session will cover and enhance your understanding the phenomenon of spontaneous volunteering from 5 recent emergencies in WA and identify the value of, and what is valuable to spontaneous volunteers.

We will also explore key areas for action when engaging with spontaneous volunteers.

Suitability: Emergency Services Volunteer Managers, Community Engagement Officers, Spontaneous Volunteer Coordinators, Spontaneous Volunteer Engagement Officers.

This session is free to attend and funded by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Grant.
