Celebrating Volunteering

Throughout the year, Volunteering WA hosted several events and online campaigns to recognise and celebrate Western Australia’s 600,000 volunteers, including the International Volunteer Day Garden Party in the beautiful Government House Gardens, the WA Volunteer of the Year Awards, National Volunteer Week, and National Student Volunteer Week.

“Volunteering has the power to bring people together, build community cohesion and revitalise our regions,”  The Hon Reece Whitby MLA, Minister for Volunteering.
