One-one-one mentoring for organisations

For both new volunteer coordinators and experienced managers

Volunteering WA is proud to offer an online mentoring service for volunteer managers, through relaxed support sessions around your volunteer management operations.

• Mentoring can include goal-setting, advice, coaching, training, motivation, and general support.
• Common volunteer management topics can include: volunteer recruitment, volunteer retention, risk management, Work Health & Safety, inclusion and diversity, mentoring and coaching volunteers and understanding regulatory obligations.

Volunteering WA's online mentoring program is made possible thanks to support from the Department of Social Services. 

Mentoring objectives and goals are driven by the volunteer manager at an initial consult, where these are co-developed into an short-medium term action plan. Mentoring sessions can employ SMART goals, reflective diary tasks and the regular evaluation of progress in a supportive environment.

Consults are 30-minute online sessions with maximum of five hours per 3 months in any given year.
