WA Volunteer of the Year Award nominations extended

Reports from Australian Government health modelling predict a potentially higher risk of COVID-19 spreading during the month of May. In light of this information, Volunteering WA has made the decision to postpone the WA Volunteer of the Year Awards from May to the end of the year, with the new date to be announced shortly.

Due to the event being postponed we are now extending award nominations until Sunday 26 April. Nominations can continue to be made online here until the new closing date.

Health and wellbeing for individuals and the community are at the forefront of our work and like many organisations in our sector, we are taking the appropriate steps to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19.

If you have already submitted your nomination and would like to take advantage of the additional time due to this extension, please contact Nazreen Macri at nazreen@volunteeringwa.org.au to arrange a re-submission.

We thank you for your continued support. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch via email.
