Volunteering WA is a finalist in the Difference Maker Diversity Awards

The Difference Maker Diversity Awards is a State award, supported by SouthCare Inc. that looks for and recognises a board and individual director in the WA Not for Profit sector who are seeking to engage with people who bring a different perspective.

The Difference Maker Diversity Awards highlight those who have taken action, those who are showing exceptional leadership, courage and commitment in promoting diversity to achieve better governance outcomes for their organisation and society.

These awards generate applications from high calibre directors across the State.

Volunteering WA was thrilled to be nominated and selected as a finalist for the 2018 awards and was pleased to attend the State of the Nation event to celebrate the achievements of the Engaging Young Leaders on Aged Care and Community Boards program and winners of the Difference Maker Diversity Awards.

The 2018 winners were announced as:
