Survey Open: State of Volunteering in WA 2023
22/06/2023
Volunteering WA, in partnership with the state and federal government is conducting the biggest and most in-depth survey of volunteer management in Western Australia of the past decade.
The state of WA's volunteering was last captured in a report published in 2015, and WOW! has the volunteering ecosystem changed since then.
The Volunteer Managers survey is now open. We need to hear about your experience, valuable insights and projections for the WA volunteering sector.
If you are a volunteer manager, program leader, CEO, or otherwise lead volunteers, you are invited to participate. Please note there is no limit to the number of volunteer managers from any organisation. The more responses we receive the richer the WA results will be.
At the conclusion of the survey period there will be a draw for five $100 gift vouchers, for all survey participants from Western Australia.
The survey can take about 10-minutes (most of the prompts are quick-fire responses, and you can preview questions if you want to see what's coming).
Why take the survey?
As your peak body, we aim to be your go-to place for all things volunteering, including the latest statistics, figures and trends within the sector. The statistics published in the 2023 Report can form the basis of your volunteer program planning, advocacy work, media pitching, strategies, grant and funding proposals for the next 5-10 years.
Help ensure the WA State of Volunteering Report 2023 is reflective of your views, your organisation, volunteering programs, and trends. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
This survey is a historic opportunity to capture the current state of volunteering in Western Australia, map trends, and considers how volunteering in across our diverse State may evolve into the future.
Each of our State and Territory counterparts will also be working towards their volunteering reports with consistent surveys used across all States.
Make sure your analysis of volunteering is recorded.
