Impact Investing - Making it happen 2019 (Australia)

Impact investing is growing in Australia and around the world. For some charities, this offers new ways of achieving their purpose with a different form of investment. However, few charities have investment ready proposals.  

This report shares the findings from a series of CEO forums run by Community Council of Australia and Life Without Barriers in 2018. The aim was to explore options for addressing the gap between investor interest and readiness for investment amongst charities. It provides recommendations for not-for-profit organisations and identifies areas where government should act to support capacity development and growth in the impact investment ecosystem.
