National Volunteer Week Activities, supported by Lotterywest
Supported by Lotterywest, each year Volunteering WA offers grants of up to $1,000 to be used by organisations to celebrate their volunteers during National Volunteer Week. In 2023, over 150 Western Australian volunteering organisations received a grant to help deliver over 200 events.
WA Volunteer of the Year Awards
More than 228 nominations were submitted for this year’s WA Volunteer of the Year Awards, giving the judging panels a tough challenge to shortlist 21 Finalists who will be celebrated at the gala dinner to be held in May.
Light Up Red for National Volunteer Week
Iconic Western Australian landmarks will light up in magnificent red – the colour of volunteering – in support of volunteers.
Our supporters include The Bell Tower; Parliament and Council House; Optus Stadium; Sky Ribbon; Elizabeth Quay Bridge and Spanda; and the Woodside Energy building.
We encourage your workplace to wear a touch of red, or display NVW posters.
