Volunteer Manager Networking - West Leederville
At this session we'll share information and solve any volunteer-related problems you might have. We'll also have a 30 minute networking morning tea and then a 1 hour discussion on creating volunteer opportunities for people not normally given a chance to volunteer!
Continuing on with our Taboo Topics series, our special guest speakers are from the Boronia Pre-release Centre for Women (Department of Justice). They will be talking about a ground-breaking initiative: Reintegration through Volunteering Strategy. This will provide an opportunity for women to build and develop positive relationships with your organisations before they are released from Boronia, and expand and practice any skills they may have learnt while at Boronia.
But what's in it for you? Why would you want to be involved in a reintegration program? What barriers do you see within your organisation? Come along and ask your questions. Nothing is taboo in this discussion!
This event is FREE but only open to people currently managing volunteers. Places are limited.
This event counts towards your Volunteer Manager Endorsement.
