2019 Volunteering WA Scholarships - Perth

Applications are now open from VWA Members, who are experiencing financial hardship, to apply for Scholarships to attend a series of workshops that will gain Endorsement from Volunteering WA. The Volunteer Management Endorsements involve attending a number of workshops, all designed to provide participants with the tools, knowledge and information to be a professional Volunteer Manager.

There are three levels of Endorsement that require differing commitment:

Volunteer Administrator: Valued at $247 this requires attending: Key Issues of Volunteer Management (full-day), National Standards for Volunteer Involvement (full-day), and 1 Volunteer Manager Networking session (half-day).
Volunteer Coordinator: Valued at $775 this requires the Volunteer Administrator Endorsement plus attending 6 half-day Masterclasses and 2 Volunteer Manager Networking sessions
Volunteer Manager: Valued at $1,039 this requires the Volunteer Coordinator Endorsement plus attending 4 half-day Masterclasses and 2 Volunteer Manager Networking sessions

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Currently work in Volunteer Management (paid or volunteer) for at least 15 hours per week.
• Be part of a not-for-profit organisation that is a member of Volunteering WA and that has limited resources.
• Commit to completing all requirements within two years from start date.
