Youth Week: 10 – 16 April 2026

Youth Week WA will take place from Friday 10 to Thursday 16 April 2026 and is the largest annual celebration of young people in Western Australia.

Coordinated by the Department of Communities, Youth Week provides young people in Western Australia with the opportunity to express ideas, discuss important community issues, co-design local events and showcase their talents and contributions.

For the wider community, Youth Week WA is an opportunity to come together, listen to young people and celebrate the everyday contributions they make.

This year’s theme – ‘Strength in Our Stories’ – is centred on the value of the unique and diverse upbringing of young people in the WA Community, and the way our personal values shape and push us to make change and face challenging setbacks.

Youth Week WA Ambassadors

Maeson Harvey, Regina Ndossi, Joshua Patrick, and Alessia Maio are the Youth Week WA Ambassadors for 2026. The Ambassadors are young volunteers who support the planning and promotion of Youth Week WA by contributing their perspectives on initiatives, speaking in the media and promoting the event in their communities.
