National Volunteering Conference 2020 - Call for Abstracts Now Open

04/07/2019

Volunteering Australia invites you to contribute your voice by submitting an abstract to present at the upcoming National Volunteering Conference to be held in Perth on 18-20 March 2020.

The theme of the conference is Diversity, Power, Purpose and will challenge delegates to leverage the diversity of the volunteering sector and harness its power to address some of the most significant issues faced by today’s society. To do this we will be asking delegates and speakers to Reach Out, Step Up and Go Beyond.

This premier volunteering event provides a forum for not-for-profit leaders, managers of volunteers, researchers and policy contributors to advance, shape and strengthen the volunteering sector through knowledge sharing, discussion and participation.

Abstracts relating to our conference theme with a particular focus on the following sub-themes are encouraged:

  • Inclusion - how we extend the reach in our communities to leverage and embrace diversity through volunteering
  • Innovation - how we step up and harness the power of volunteering Australia-wide to challenge issues and positively influence societal change
  • Inspiration - how we can go beyond, discover, share purpose and shape the future of volunteering in Australia

Volunteering Australia is welcoming abstract submissions from anyone with an interest in volunteering – volunteers, administrators, consumers, researchers, industry partners, corporates, peak bodies and national associations.

Abstracts must be submitted online.
