The National Volunteer Week 2017 Grants Program provides an opportunity for volunteer involving organisations in metropolitan, regional and remote WA to participate in the annual national celebration of Australia’s extraordinary volunteers.
Volunteering WA, thanks to support from Lotterywest, is offering volunteer involving organisations around the State an opportunity to apply for a grant of up to $1,000 to organise a project or event to recognise their volunteers during National Volunteer Week from 8-14 May 2017.
Applications that reflect partnerships between local organisations to run an event or display will receive priority.
Funding may be used for administration, publicity, transport, hire of equipment and/or venue, entertainment (e.g. hiring a band), food or non-alcoholic beverages.
The National Volunteer Week 2017 grants will be allocated on the basis of:
- The grant being used during National Volunteer Week from 8-14 May 2017.
- Preference for activities involving partnerships between local volunteer organisations.
- Confirmation that the conditions of funding will be met.
