Creating and Sustaining Inclusive Volunteering

This information session will be facilitated by Anthony Pyle, Community Engagement Facilitator, Mission Australia in partnership with Volunteering WA.

This session is an introduction to developing position descriptions and defining roles for people with disability.

We will explore:

• Disability Awareness: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
• Personal attributes and communication abilities for people with disability to volunteer
• How to support people with disability in your Volunteer Involving Organisation (VIO)

Suitability: All Volunteer managers who are Full Members of Volunteering WA.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points: Up to 0.5 CPD point is awarded for attending this online session.
