Sustainable Fashion Youth Volunteer Day

Fashion is the second most polluting industry in the world after oil. The over consumption of cheap, fast fashion is having a catastrophic social and environmental impact, but there are things that we can do to create positive change!

Volunteering WA is proud to be partnering with Good Sammy on a special youth volunteering day where you will get a hands-on perspective of the amazing and complex work that goes into re-selling discarded fashion. The day will include a tour of Good Sammy’s huge sorting facility, talks by industry experts and a hands-on volunteer experience. You will also hear about how you can get involved in more volunteering and build skills and experiences that will support your path towards future employment.

Who? Young people aged 15-24. Why not sign up with a friend? Spaces are EXTREMELY limited so please only sign up if you are definitely planning to attend.

What? A fun, hands-on volunteer day sorting donations and hearing from experts in sustainable fashion solutions. Lunch and snacks included.

Where? Make your own way to Good Sammy Enterprises, 33-35 Bannister Road Canning Vale WA 6155
