Implementing the National Standards: Volunteer Roles - Case Studies

This session is in collaboration with the Centre for Volunteering (NSW) and registering for this event will require an Eventbrite account.

Once you have set up an account you will be able to register for the Volunteer Roles - Case Studies session.

Throughout 2023, join the Centre for Volunteering as we not only explore each of the National Standards for Volunteering each month, but we shine a spotlight on the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, and learn how they successfully implemented the National Standards through our interactive case study series.

In this session, Kylie Elliott will breakdown how she and her team at the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation successfully implemented Volunteer Roles. Kylie will speak to the challenges and issues with implementation and provide hints and tips so that you can successfully implement Leadership and Management into your organisation.

Sessions will be recorded however we recommend live participation as participants will be invited to ask questions, and discuss ideas throughout the session and then encouraged to continue the discussion over on our Volunteer Management Forums.

Suitability: For Volunteer Managers who have already completed Key Issues of Volunteer Management.

This event is worth 0.5 CPD points. To learn more about Continuous Professional Development with Volunteering WA and how to register click on the CPD link
