*Free* Supervising and Mentoring Volunteers in your VIO - Facilitator: Jenny Gleeson

Managing people can be extremely stressful. In fact, statistics show that the number one cause of stress for management is employee engagement and communication issues.

This workshop has been designed to help you supervise and mentor your volunteers effectively to reduce stress, conflict and increase productivity.

Utilising a series of brainstorming activities, group work and individual reflection, this workshop will walk you through how to apply supervisory skills, implement mentoring techniques and ascertain the motivation behind why your volunteers love engaging with your organisation and what drives them to give back to our community.

Knowing how to do this will ensure that supervising and mentoring your volunteers will become a breeze.

Suitability: For Volunteer Managers who have already completed Key Issues of Volunteer Management and the Implementation of the Volunteer National Standards

This workshop is free for Volunteer Managers and is kindly funded by the Volunteer Management Activity (VMA) Program
