Training & Events
At Volunteering WA we appreciate the value of good quality volunteer management training and networking opportunites. In support of this we have a wide range of training courses available throughout the year.
Ongoing training not only equips those who are new to working with volunteers with the tools they need, but also contributes to the continued professional development of those who have been in the field for a while.
We are constantly sourcing and evaluating the training which is currently available to ensure that our members have access to the highest quality training at an affordable price. Indeed many of our training and development opportunites are offered for free, including the Introduction to VWA, Disability Awareness training and the Volunteer Management Network Forum.
We also try to offer workshops with guest speakers and in recent years have had international volunteer experts such as Linda Graff and Susan Ellis join us.
