09 April 2009 - Joondalup VRC closed for school holidaysJoondalup VRC is currently closed and will reopen on Tuesday 28 April.

02 April 2009 - Free Mental Health First Aid training
We will shortly be running some free Mental Health First Aid workshops for our member organisations. If you would be interested in this please contact Martha to let her know or call on 9482 4310. Dates and venues are still to be confirmed but the workshops will be offered in both metro and regional areas.

26 March 2009 - National Volunteer Week 2009 (May 11-17)
This year, the National Volunteer Week Breakfast Launch will be on Monday the 11th of May at Burswood on Swan. Priority will be given to VWA member organisations. Details are available here  and you can download a booking form by clicking here.

 Through VWA The West will be publishing stories that promote the diverse endeavours of volunteers. We invite VWA members to submit suitable stories. Please contact us for more information.

 Volunteer donation sorters and forklift drivers are required to assist Vinnies Perth collection centre.

Those based in or around the Victoria area who would like to volunteer can register on the GoVolunteer website.
