Volunteering Western Australia encourages all community volunteer involving organisations to tap into the service and support structures that are provided to assist them attract and retain volunteers through good volunteer management practice. As the Peak Body for volunteering in Western Australia and the custodian for the National Standards for Involving Volunteers in Not-For-Profit Organisations, VWA actively works with key people in member organisations to help them establish and sustain successful and rewarding volunteer management programs.
The modern operating environment raises significant challenges as organisations increasingly rely on volunteers to help achieve program outcomes and service delivery.
Volunteering WA offers support through a wide range of services and resources to assist organisations meet those challenges and work towards best practice in volunteer management.
