Our Mission
As the Peak Body for volunteering in Western Australia, we take a leadership role in building stronger communities through volunteering. This involves promotion and advocacy, development of partnerships, application of research to deliver innovative programs and provision of support to volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations through training and community education.
Our Values
We are knowledgeable, collaborative, visible, innovative and effective. This is evidenced through:
- Partnering with government, non-government and business agencies to promote volunteering
- Supporting and advocating on behalf of volunteers and volunteer managers
- Researching local, state, national and international trends in volunteering
- Using that information to develop and deliver innovative programs and services
