Vehicle to volunteering

Vehicle to Volunteering at EllenbrookThe Vehicle to Volunteering Project is a great opportunity for high school students with disabilities to learn about community organisations and to become involved in inclusive volunteering.

We are looking for expressions of interest from Education Support Centres in Perth high schools.

The Vehicle to Volunteering Project takes place once a week, for about half a day, over a four week period.

Students experience a “Step into Volunteering” training session, and have the chance to visit three volunteer-involving organisations. Upon arriving at each participating organisation there will be a brief presentation about the organisation, a tour, and a chance for the students to do some volunteering.

We are able to provide a mini bus for transport if your school is not equipped with one.

We would require from all participating organisations proof of public liability insurance, and a copy of their emergency evacuation plan.
